The boats are initially put in the water in the Romaine River’s delta. We first head towards La Grosse Romaine island to eventually change course for La Grande Île.
After a short break for lunch, we will visit the Zoo, a site where monoliths take different animal shapes.
Following this stop, the group will head towards the Barachois à Montpetit campsite where we will spend the night.
On our second day, we will be exploring the shores of La Grande Île, making a stop for lunch at Le Château, one the most beautiful limestone formations of the archipelago.
In the afternoon, we will continue are travel around the island which will eventually lead us to our campsite at Havre à Petit-Henri.
The third day of our odyssey will take us to Île Quarry. After lunch we will have the opportunity to visit the island by the walking paths. These paths will lead us to the monoliths located on the southern side of the island. We will take the wooden sidewalks through the bogs in the middle of the island. We will also see monoliths among the forest in the center of the island.
When we feel ready, we will cross over to the Romaine River’s delta where we left from.
